Royal Tour 2017, Hamburg Departure

Source: Daily Mail

And just like that, the Royal Tour has come to an end. The Cambridges said their farewells, once again in color coordinating ensembles, this time in shades of reds, pinks, and purples.

Prior to departure, Prince William showed the children the cockpit of an EC145 (the same model he flew as an air ambulance pilot) and another helicopter at the Airbus' plant in Hamburg. Charlotte was seen throwing a bit of a tantrum while approaching the helicopters, but Kate quickly and quietly diffused the situation. George, however, was visibly delighted. He asked to sit in both cockpits and could tell the difference between the helicopters. He also tried on a helmet and listened in rapture to his dad's explanations about the helicopters. Once Charlotte recovered from her moment of distress, she asked if she could push some buttons in the cockpit as well.

As far as what the children were wearing, it is a day of mostly repeats. Charlotte was seen in the same exact dress pink liberty print dress she wore to this year's Trooping the Colour, an Amaia Kids Medium Hair Bow in what appears to be Rust (£4), her Doña Carmen Mercedita Suela Mary Janes in Maroon (€29.95), and her Condor Plain Socks with Detail Cuff ($12).

George rocked mostly the same pieces we've seen him in this tour – the same navy shorts, Vaello Basic Elastic Adjustable Belt (€15), navy socks, and Start-Rite John shoes in Navy (£17). But he did debut a new collarless top, the Coral Button Shirt by Neck & Neck (€14.99), which features long sleeves, a "cherry" gingham print, and a button down front, with thanks to @CeliaRomeroM22 on Twitter! Note that the embroidery on the front breast is only visibly on the Spanish site, not on the American site. But you should feel confident you are purchasing the correct shirt as the product numbers match on both!

Although this concludes the Royal Tour, tomorrow is George's birthday, so we have our fingers crossed for the release of an annual birthday photo! See you all then!
