Royal Tour 2017, Poland Arrival

Source: Skynews.com.au

Today marked the start of the five day Royal Tour, where the Cambridges are visiting Poland and Germany. The family arrived in Warsaw via a private jet at 1:45pm local time today, and Kate emerged carrying Charlotte and William, holding George's hand.

The family presented a united, sartorial front, wearing red, white, and blue – a significant choice, as red and white are the national colors of Poland. Although we've spent the better part of today scouring the internet to identify what the children were wearing, not much headway was made. But we will share what has been found.

George wore a long sleeved, collared shirt featuring red, white, blue, and aqua checks. It is made by the brand Tizzas and is available for purchase as El Corte Ingles at a reduced rate of just €12.79 (roughly $15). This was tucked in to a pair of navy shorts featuring a distinctive back pocket detail as well as side pockets, and his look was finished neatly with a matching navy belt. The buckle is silver and has a square shape, and at least the front of the belt is leather, although the portion around the waist could be a different material. His look was completed with navy socks and his Start Rite John shoes in navy leather (currently a steal at just £35!). Although the shorts, belts, and socks are not identified, this is a very easy and cute look to "repli-George"!

Charlotte wore a red and white liberty print dress featuring buttons down the top half of the back and a belted waist detail, trimmed with white piping. It also had a peter pan collar and was short sleeved. This gets added to the ever-growing list of Charlotte's UFO dresses – we suspect that Kate commissions a tailor for all of these, as they've each feature very similar details. Charlotte's bangs were pulled back with her usual Amaia Kids Medium Hair Bow, this one in red (£4). The look was finished off with what appears to be her Condor Plain Sock with Detail Cuff in white (available at Classical Child for $12) and a pair of matte red shoes. Our friends at What Kate's Kids Wore believe she is wearing the Catalina by Papouelli (£56), and while we cannot say with 100% certainty, the shoes do look like them!*

Some fun facts about the tour:

The Polish Ambassador to the UK presented Kate and William with three book for the children – Mr. Miniscule and the Whale by Julian Tuwim and illustrated by Bhodan Butenko, Maps by Aleksandra and Daniel Mizielinska, and Bees: A Honeyed History by Piotr Socha.

Also, after receiving a gift for the kids that was a soft toy designed for newborns at a reception event, Kate joked, "We will just have to have more babies!" Yes, please!

The family is staying at Belvedere Palace, which has set up play areas for the children to enjoy while Mum and Dad are working.

Kensington Palace said, “...we expect the children to be seen on at least a couple of occasions over the course of the week.” So stay tuned this week for more!

* UPDATE 7/18/2017 * We believe Charlotte is wearing a vintage pair of Start-rite shoes, first worn by Prince Harry as a child. With much thanks to the ever savvy Bojana via Twitter!
