About Us

Lauren and Chrissy have a lot in common – while attending undergrad together in Michigan and working as interns in their Leadership program, both women identified their similar interests and personalities. When Chrissy completed her internship at Glamour Magazine in New York City, she quickly recommended Lauren as her replacement, knowing Lauren would be the perfect fit. Chrissy and Lauren continued to grow their friendship over a mutual love for the arts, fashion, knitting, genealogy, travel, and eventually following (closely!) the sartorial choices of the Duchess of Cambridge. One day while talking about the upcoming Royal Tour, Lauren identified the absence of a blog dedicated to Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge, the baby sure to follow in his mother's elegant and classic fashion. The friends decided then and there that they would be honored to blog about HRH Prince George's fashion and accessories, qualified with their extensive backgrounds in design, fashion, and editorial. It was then that they decided to embark on the amazing journey that has become Prince George Pieces.

Lauren is currently a brand specialist who earned her BFA in Graphic Design with a certificate in Leadership and served as editor-in-chief of the university yearbook for two years. During her undergraduate career, Lauren spent two summers studying abroad in Europe. In addition, she also had the opportunity to spend two semesters exploring the worlds of fashion and publishing while interning with Burberry Group, Glamour magazine, and Vogue magazine in New York City. She resides in her beloved state of Michigan with her husband and their cat.

Christine is currently a freelance writer and editor. She earned her BA in English Literature with a certificate in Leadership and her MA in English Literature. She served as an editor on a variety of campus publications. During her undergraduate career, Christine studied abroad in Tanzania and was a member of the gymnastics and acrosport team for three years. Christine took one semester off to intern at Elle and Glamour magazines in New York City. She currently lives a nomadic life, moving to a new city every few months with her travelling-nurse husband.
