Happy third birthday, Prince George! Kensington Palace delighted us all by releasing four new images of our favorite little prince to commemorate his special day. The photographs were taken in mid-July by Matt Porteous at the Cambridge’s country residence, Anmer Hall. Porteous said, "I really enjoyed the opportunity to take these photographs of Prince George. It was a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. I'm honoured that they have decided to share these images with the public to mark his third birthday." It is reported that George spent the day at home in Norfolk with Grandpa and Grandma Middleton and some pals from Westacre Montessori School.

George debuted two new outfits while sharing an ice cream treat with Lupo and playing on a wooden swing. In the first image, he wears Pepa & Co.’s Whale Print Cotton Sweater, now sold out, and the brand’s Taupe Shorts. While the company confirms the shorts are theirs, they are currently only available in smaller sizes on the website.

Kate has been rumored to shop at Pepa & Co., but this is the first time we’ve seen either George or Charlotte photographed wearing the brand. George completed the look with a white polo and his Trotters Hampton Canvas Nantucket Canvas Shoes, still available in some sizes and first seen July 8 during the toddler’s visit to the Royal International Air Tattoo.

In the second set of images, George went barefoot, wearing Sunuva’s Blue/White Stripe T-Shirt with a pair of navy shorts (more details to come on the shorts and blanket as we are able to make IDs). Sunuva, a new brand for George, specializes in kids UV sunwear and beachwear. We expect to see more of Sunuva and Pepa & Co. in the future!
The wooden swing is a simple, classic design hung with rope and with the front faced personalized with William and Catherine's name engraved. We found two British companies that make very similar tree swings with the option of personalization: Make Me Something Special (£299) and JC Gardens (£250).

Year 2 was an eventful one for Prince George: He appeared on a stamp, attended his first day of nursery school, went on a ski trip in the French Alps, celebrated his great grandmother’s 90th birthday (and his sister’s 1st!), met the President of the United States (in his pajamas, no less), and attended his first official engagement in the UK.
However, George’s 3rd year may be his last living in scenic, rural Norfolk. Reports suggest the family will move back to London in the fall of 2017 for George to attend Wetherby, William’s former prep school.
Last weekend, George – who has shown an enthusiasm for aircraft – met with members of the Special Air Service at a camp in Western England at an event to honor the British elite forces’ 75th anniversary. There are no photos of this meeting, however, we imagine this work trip felt more like a birthday treat to the toddler.

What did George ask for as a present? Rumor has it – a puppy! Kate and Wills supposedly gifted their eldest child a Bolonka Zwetna puppy. His parents also reportedly purchased George a Royal Scot train set from Hornby (£279.99).
Other gift reports include a Corgi Vintage Aston Martin James Bond Goldfinger car ($29.46) and a vintage toy plane, like the silver comet BOAC jet by The Dinky Garage from his grandfather, Charles.
A few, other points of interest in the royal fashion community...
Aunt Pippa is engaged! Here’s to hoping George and Charlotte are a ring bearer and flower girl. Gorgeous fashion is a given.
A reader from What Kate’s Kids Wore identified George’s navy shorts from the International Air Tattoo. He wore the Solid Flat Front Shorts in Deep True Navy from Gap. They were originally priced at $26.95 but have been marked down to $16.99. Gap is also running a promotion (as of July 22, 2016) for an additional 40% off your purchase making these shorts a royal steal!
