George and Charlotte at the Houghton International Horse Trials

Hi friends! This weekend George and Charlotte were spotted at the Houghton International Horse Trials with Wills and Kate, Nanny Maria, and close friends, James and Laura Meade (James was a schoolmate of William’s from Eton and the son of Richard Meade, one of Charlotte’s God-parents). The Trials took place at Houghton Hall in Norfolk – quite close to Anmer Hall – and friends enjoyed a picnic while watching the events. Picnic festivities included chocolate cake on paper plates – how do we get on this guest list?

George looked comfortable wearing the same outfit he was spotted wearing when climbing onto a police motorcycle on May 24th. These new images are higher in quality and allow us to see that his sweater is the Navy Stripe Crew Neck from Next, with thanks to What Kate's Kids Wore. He paired the Breton striped top with navy shorts, a baby blue polo shirt, and a new pair of Chuck Taylor 2V All-Stars. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen George wear Converse, but his previous pair had laces instead of Velcro straps.

An image of Charlotte sitting on Kate’s lap shows our favorite little princess wearing a blue patterned dress and cardigan reminiscent of every look we’ve seen her in over the last six months. It’s been speculated that her dress is the same one she wore in her birthday portraits, and while it’s highly possible that the dress (and cardigan) are from the m&h

brand, the collar of this dress appears to be patterned unlike the white collar seen in Charlotte's birthday photos. She accessorized with her Amaia Kids Small Hair Bow in Capri. Of additional interest is the appearance of a new stroller. William was seen

pushing the Out N About Nipper 360 Single V4*, and we can assume that this is for Charlotte. At first glance, it looks similar to the stroller pushed by Laura Meade on Sunday, but careful observation leads us to believe that it is not actually the same piece. Kate has been spotted using George’s old Silver Cross pram with Charlotte, but this new piece is probably much easier to use on grassy, uneven trails. The stroller has won many awards and is known for its lightweight, aluminum frame that easily compacts for travel.

Kate and George were photographed at the Trials again on Sunday, this time with George wearing a pair of jeans and a navy quilted jacket similar to the Joules Baby Milford he sported last season. While he’s certainly outgrown that piece, it’s possible that this coat is by the brand or it could be a new piece by John Lewis, the maker of the navy quilted jacket George wore on his first day of nursery school this winter. We expect to see more of the family at a polo match or two in the coming months, and we anticipate George will attend the Trooping the Colour. What a fun way to start the summer!

*UPDATE 6/2/2016*

Out N About shared they were thrilled and delighted to create a buggy for the royal family, and that the Nipper we observed is actually a custom design. The small, family-run company based in the UK updated the classic black chassis with navy fabric for this one-of-a-kind piece. The company also states that a carrycot was requested in the same colorway, to be used by Princess Charlotte.
