Can you believe it? Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge turns one tomorrow! To celebrate the occasion, Kensington Palace released four very special photos of the beautiful babe. The photographs were taken by the Duchess of Cambridge last month in Anmer Hall. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the palace release images that were taken by Kate; the sibling portraits from last June, Charlotte’s 6 month portrait from November, and George's first day of nursery school portraits from January were taken by the proud mum. Kensington Palace said upon the release of today’s photographs, "The Duke and Duchess are very happy to be able to share these important family moments and hope that everyone enjoys these lovely photos as much as they do.” Yes, Kensington Palace, we do enjoy them just as much as the family!

In one photo, we see Charlotte climbing on a wicker chair, looking over her shoulder in a moment perfectly captured by the Duchess. In this photo, we see the princess photographed wearing light blue for the very first time. She wears the same outfit in a second photo – a side shot of Charlotte standing and looking angelic while using a white and pink chiavari chair for balance. The blue dress and matching bloomers come from familiar brand m&h. Like the dress Charlotte wore for the Royal Children portrait with HM, it's from m&h's FW15 collection and likely retails for €24,90; we are awaiting a photo of the ensemble in this colorway. In the meantime, you can see a similar style here in pink. The dress features a delicate, baby blue liberty print and a white ruffle collar. Over the dress, Charlotte wears the Cashmere Baby Rose Stitch Cardigan in Cream by Olivier Baby.

Some of you may remember that George was spotted in an Olivier sweater at the Beaufort Polo Match last summer. Charlotte's vintage inspired cardigan is made from 100% chunky 6 ply cashmere and is available in big girl sizes if you have an older princess in your life. It retails for £59.00–£89.00 ($86.00-$130.00) depending upon the size. Beneath the dress, Charlotte wears the Light Blue Ribbed Tights from Amaia kids, which retails for £11.00 (about $16.50) and her second pair of Early Days shoes – the Emma pre-walker in navy. In the photo on the wicker chair, Charlotte’s bangs are clipped back with the Navy Small Hair Bow by Amaia Kids (£2.50 / $3.65), but interestingly, it appears to have been swapped out with the Capri Small Hair Bow (£2.50 / $3.65) in the chivari chair photo.

The second set of photos feature Charlotte in a pink ensemble – very much her traditional look. In the first, Charlotte sits on the floor holding a book, The Wheels on the Bus by David Ellwand (£6.99 / $10.25) and glancing up. In the second, we see her outside, pushing a Walker and Alphabet Blocks toy by Pintoy (about $145.00) through the lush, green lawn and sporting a huge grin (with Lupo frolicking in the background!). This little girl obviously loves the outdoors! Her

liberty print, pink dress appears to be cotton and features double breasted pink buttons on the front chest. It sports a white peter pan collar with pink scallop trim. We are still working on identifying this piece. We see Charlotte wear the same accessories from the Queen’s 90th Birthday Portrait: the m&h Pink Cardigan (this solves the Great Cardigan Debate!), Amaia Kids Cotton Ribbed Tights in Dusty Pink, and Amaia Kids Small Bow in Dusty Pink. She again wears the Emma pre-walkers in navy to complete the look.
What a treat to see four new photographs and two new images. It almost feels like it’s our birthday, instead of Charlotte’s!
Tell us, how will you be celebrating Charlotte’s birthday tomorrow?
