Happy Friday, friends!

With only a week until Christmas, we are getting into the holiday spirit – from drinking eggnog to tying up brown paper packages in strings while listening to Bing Crosby...So we were delighted to wake up this morning to a “holiday card” from the Cambridges!

Chris Jelf snapped the image of the family in late October in Kensington gardens, and he admits he had to work fast with too energetic little ones involved.

The joyous family look absolutely lovely. Graceful Catherine smiles into the camera while William looks lovingly at George who appears to be caught mid scamper and laughing. Charlotte appears contented – and curious – in the arms of her mum.

We see the children sporting their trademark styles. George wears a simple white polo layered under a baby blue fairisle sweater* (previously seen here) with classic navy shorts. The shorts appear to be his Navy Blue Mayoral Chino Shorts. We wouldn’t be surprised if Kate picked this staple up in multiple sizes, seeing how comfortable and versatile they are, as George undoubtedly outgrew the pair

we’ve seen him wear in past photos. The look is completed with Navy Ribbed Knee High Socks from Amaia Kids and his trusty Start Rite Jo Navy Blue Boys Leather First Walking Shoes. You can achieve a similar look. Start with a base layer like the Boys Classic White Polo Shirt from Gant or Boys White Cotton Piqué Polo Shirt by Tommy Hilfiger. Then layer over a baby blue, fair isle sweater like this one from Gymboree.

Charlotte looks pretty in pink, wearing the same outfit she sported in the official photos Kate took of her daughter, released last month. She wears the lovely, ruffled collar dress from Spanish brand M&H and keeps cozy in matching Baby Pink Ribbed Tights by Amaia Kids. The little one stays warm in a pink, possibly cashmere, cardigan. It looks so soft! Charlotte wears a pair of

leather, first walker shoes, one dropped on the grass in front of her. We think it’s likely they are this pair also by M&H. They feature a scallop around the front, a pink button closure, and pink leather bottom soles.

The children brought along a toy train, which Monique Jessen of

People Magazine identified as the Steam Train Pull Along by Orange Tree Toys. No surprise, as George loves planes, trains, tractors... basically all forms of transportation!

In other news, George will be attending Westacre Montessori nursery school in Norfolk in January. Both Prince William and Prince Harry attended Montessori nursery schools and Princess Diana worked as an assistant at one before marrying into the Royal Family. The King's Lynn school is incredibly affordable (£33 per day) and small as well, with just 27 students. We

commend Will and Kate for trying to keep George and Charlotte's childhood as normal as possible.

Have a wonderful holiday season, Royal Watchers, we

hope you enjoy this new picture as much as we have!

* UPDATE 12/20/2015: George's Blue Fairisle Sweater seen here is from Spanish brand Fina Ejerique. Contributing Correspondent for PEOPLE magazine, Monique Jessen, identified the jumper Saturday. It was available from Margarita and Co. for € 29.90 but quickly sold out. Because George's entire ensemble (with the exception of his Start Rite shoes) comes from Spanish brands, we can't help but wonder if this is solely the influence of Nanny Maria or if Kate has found something in Spanish children's wear currently lacking among British brands. What do you think? Regardless, this is the perfect last minute Christmas gift to snatch up for any little princes in your own lives. Happy holidays!
