Today, the first inevitable paparazzi photo of Princess Charlotte, accompanied by Prince George and Nanny Maria, appeared in Australian Women's Day. We know that not all readers are keen on the surfacing of this photo, especially after the Cambridge's plea to the paparazzi to leave George alone, so we leave the choice of viewing it to you. They can be viewed on the Women's Day website. According to the publication, George and Charlotte were watching Princess Anne's helicopter land at Kensington Palace. This isn't the first time we've seen George enjoying the arrival or departure of a helicopter, and it isn't a surprise, considering his penchant for motorized vehicles and the fact that his dad, Prince William, is a pilot!

George wore his Joules Baby Milford Jacket, first seen on his birthday beach outing with Grandmother, Carole Middleton. The jacket retails for $49.95, and the version with green embroidery is still available the Joules website. It's the perfect fall jacket and very similar to the quilted styles we've seen on Kate. We love watching Mummy's style carry over to her kids! Princess Charlotte appeared in an ivory, double-breasted ensemble quite similar to the Irulea set which she wore in her first official portraits released this past June. While the quality of the image makes it difficult to identify the maker of her outfit, we wouldn't be surprised if it was, indeed, Irulea. If better images emerge, and we are able to make a definite ID, we'll let you know! It should be noted that Charlotte is wearing leggings, not a dress. In a recent interview for PEOPLE, Rachel Riley, designer of many of George's most recognizable outfits, stated, "Because they're a traditional family, I'm sure that she'll [Charlotte] wear babysuits for the first year, and then only when she's walking will she then move into dresses." We think that Rachel Riley's prediction is likely; it is due to tradition that we haven't seen George wearing anything other than shorts in official appearances. While the Cambridges have proven to be a very modern royal family, they are still very respectful of tradition, especially when it comes to dressing their children.

In other news, Princess Charlotte recently took her first airplane ride to Scotland, traveling to the Queen's Balmoral estate in celebrate of the her record-breaking milestone (sorry Queen Victoria) as Britain's longest reigning monarch. Luckily the trip shouldn't have been too difficult for the young family, as they were able to borrow the Duke of Westminister's private jet! We've missed engaging with you all over the last couple of months, but we understand that our favorite royal family needs a break too. Who's counting down to the release of official Christmas portraits? Here's to a lovely autumn and as always, happy Royal Watching!
