A Birthday Beach Outing

On the morning of George’s birthday, Grandma Carole took George for a beach excursion - no doubt to get some quality time with her grandson while Mummy Kate prepared for the small party. The duo were photographed romping around at Norfolk Beach, dipping their toes in the water, and digging big holes with Lupo. This moment that was captured is seriously adorable. You can see the photos on Popsugar, and they were also published in the French magazine, Point de Vue.

The day must’ve been chilly, as George wore the lovely Baby Milford Classic Quilted Jacket in navy by Joules. The jacket retails for $59.95 and features a checked lining, cord collar, trims, and elbow pads, and sweet gold snaps down the front. Joules is a classic British clothing brand that has been around for 3 generations and sets out to outfit the whole family. Underneath this jacket, George wore a blue top and the same light blue chino shorts he wore on another recent outing with Carole. He quickly stuffed his Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars (retail $30.95) into his Happy Giddy Pail by Melissa & Doug (retail $14.94) and had Carole hold his sold-out Cath Kidston Guards Kids Backpack. This isn’t the first Melissa and Doug toy Cheeks played with; Auntie Pippa reportedly gifted him the Melissa & Doug K’s Kids Pullback Vehicles.

George obviously loves tractors. He brought what appears to be a Caterpillar Inc. excavator toy with him to the beach, and we’ve seen him with tractor toys in the past, like in Snettisham Park where he rode on a child-size John Deere tractor and wore a tractor printed gilet. He also loves the book Dig, Dig, Digging by Margaret Mayo and was seen holding it on the way to the Queen's Pre-Christmas Luncheon in December.

As we admired George’s beachy blonde locks today, we couldn’t help but reflect on the shampoo and body wash he reportedly uses. Dubble Trubble is the children’s line of products by British hair stylist, Daniel Gavin. Dubble Trubble is sold at Target and also can be purchased on Amazon, and proceeds support the Prince of Wales Foundation. Considering how good George’s hair looks, we’re thinking of trying it out on our own.
