Be still our hearts. Kensington Palace released images today of Prince George holding Princess Charlotte, and yes, they are as adorable as they sound. If you haven’t seen them already, get ready to squeal uncontrollably. Actually, even if you have already seen them, you’ll probably squeal again. We did!
The photographs were captured by the Duchess of Cambridge in mid-May at Anmer Hall, and we are so thrilled she chose to share them with the public. We get a little glimpse into just how tender George is with his new baby sister; it is apparent by the way he kisses her forehead, smiles, and lovingly looks at her. Charlotte appears quite comfortable in the protective, although tiny, arms of her big brother and even seems to be grasping his hand in one photo.
George wears the same outfit we last saw him in when visiting Charlotte for the first time in the hospital. The piece comes from Rachel Riley - a white button down with blue piping and attached blue shorts that retail for $159. He accessorizes with the same Amaia Kids socks in Blue France, which retail for £7 (about $7.50), and his dependable Jo navy leather shoes from Start Rite (£37 about $41).
Newborn Charlotte wears Irulea, the Spanish company that made the bonnet she famously wore upside down while departing from the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's Hospital. The jersey chemise has a swiss batiste frill, and Charlotte layers a wool jumper on top. The items are all handmade in the color bone and can be purchased as a set of 4
(bonnet, booties, sweater, and chemise) for $254 or as separates (sweater €85, chemise €58). Her leggings are currently un-identified, although these Pine Leggings by Minutus look incredibly similar to the knit stitch, fit, fabric, and color in beige. Minutus is a Spanish brand (so far, we’ve seen Charlotte wearing Irulea and using the Pasito a Pasito carseat cover - both are Spanish companies!), and we've reached out to them regarding the product in hopes of a conclusive ID. We’ve also contacted Irulea to see if the leggings are one of their products not featured on the website.*

*UPDATE 6/11/16 : Charlotte's wool leggings are by Irulea and while currently sold out, will be available for purchase next week. They retail for €40 or about $45. The pillows the children leaning back on are also made by Irulea. As always, we'll keep you updated if any other details emerge!
