We will let you take a second to catch your breath. Go ahead and pinch yourself; you’re not dreaming!
The Great Kate Wait 2.0 officially ended today when Kate went into labor and was admitted into St. Mary’s hospital at 6 a.m. BDT today (May 2, 2015). Everything went quickly and smoothly, and at 8:34 a.m., the healthy Princess of Cambridge was born. She weighs 8 lbs 3 oz. The Duchess is healthy, and the Duke was present for the birth. The family is reportedly “delighted” at the news - delighted might be the understatement of the century! The easel outside Kensington Palace has proudly been displayed, and loving, congratulatory messages are being communicated to the family in droves.
Now we are waiting in anticipation to see if George will visit the hospital with the Middletons (All our fingers and toes are crossed. Who can forget the images of Wills visiting Harry at the hospital?), when the Cambridges will depart St. Mary’s (Skynews reports they will not be staying the night), what will they name the Princess (Alice, Charlotte, Elizabeth are all popular choices), and what will everyone be

wearing!? As we celebrate, we’re listening to our Royal Baby Spotify playlist and indulging in tea and biscuits (the caffeine is certainly welcome after a sleepless night here in the USA).
Prince George Pieces: Aristocratic Accoutrements is “delighted” to begin this new chapter as we cover the sartorial choices for both George and his new little sister. Consider us your comprehensive source for all things Prince and Princess of Cambridge!
