Royal Tour Thank You Photograph

Happy Thanksgiving! We were blessed today with a little pre-holiday treat - a photograph of our cherub-cheeked prince with his parents! The picture emerged with thanks to the HotMonarchy blog. After a bit of speculation as to where the image came from, Rebecca English, Royal Correspondant for the Daily Mail, revealed its true origins. This family photo was taken by Jason Bell in March, pre Royal Tour 2014, to be sent out as a thank you to all of the many involved in making the tour a success. Another image was taken at the same time, featuring Lupo, that we're all more aquainted with. Along with these images, Bell took George's official Christening Portraits, and we suspect the royal family will use his services again in the future. Unfortunately, at this time, it does not look like the Palace will be officially releasing this photograph.
Their Royal Highnesses looked striking in their coordinating navy ensembles (blue has become somewhat of a staple for the young family); and George absolutely stole the show with his joyful smile. Jolly George wore the Powell Craft, Ltd. Navy Blue Knitted Cardigan made from soft cotton with ivory trim. The two front pockets and wool covered buttons give it a nautical feel. It appears to be layered over a babygrow.

George paired the sweater with light blue trousers, we speculate in a soft wool or cotton to to compliment his cardigan. However, based on the low quality of the image, we currently do not have an ID. We think this is the perfect look for your tiny cutie pie, perhaps for a family Christmas card inspired by TRH’s!
