PGP Policy Change

As you might have guessed, the recent conversation surrounding Prince George and his privacy has sparked some debate here at PGP. Since our inception, we have faithfully published paparazzi photos of George under the belief that his appearances in public parks are fair game for journalists and photographers. Perhaps as Americans we are more calloused to the ways of the paparazzi and easily chafe under the idea censorship, or perhaps we know you’ll love looking at those chubby cheeks just as much as we do!

However, we also believe in respecting a parent’s wishes regarding his or her child. As the Duke and Duchess have made it abundantly clear that they are unhappy with Prince George getting papped, we will no longer be publishing these kind of images on princegeorgepieces.com or any of our social media channels. We will continue to report on all Prince George sightings but will only link to paparazzi images in the future, allowing you the option of viewing them at your discretion. We have made this decision out of respect for the Duke and Duchess and believe that -- personal opinions aside -- this is the right thing to do. In particular, we would never want to support a practice that could potentially put Prince George in danger. We hope you will understand our change in policy and look forward to keeping you up to date on all things George and Royal Baby 2.0. As always, feel free to email us with any questions or concerns you may have! Respectfully, The Prince George Pieces Editors
