The Royal Tour 2014 has come to a close after an amazing, whirlwind three-weeks. Prince George gave his adorable farewells, shaking the hands of dignitaries and donning his infamous cheeky expressions as our favorite royal family boarded the plane. He wriggled around in Kate’s arms and even gave a little shout, we think expressing his enjoyment of his time in the two, beautiful countries of New Zealand and Australia. He boarded the aircraft wearing, of course, his navy Early Days shoes, red and white striped short dungarees with a white, collared top, and a vibrant, red cardigan, reminiscent of the red Catherine Walker Russian Greatcoat Kate chose for her debut outfit on this tour. We know we are not alone in saying we will miss Cheeks and hope to see him back in the UK in the near future! Wills remarked before departure, "We go away with wonderful memories, and George goes away with his cuddly wombat, which he has taken to chewing so lovingly." Aww! We’re taking bets on “wombat” or “bilby” as George’s first word.
While we work on identifying Prince George’s Pieces from today, we want to give you an update on his adorable, sailor romper. Annafie has confirmed that this piece is theirs and is currently available to order for your prince! Grab this piece before it sells out (George Effect!).
Will you miss seeing our mini trendsetter on a regular basis as much as we will? We’re wishing and hoping for an appearance at Trooping the Colour! In the mean time, be sure to keep checking back here at PGP as we will regularly post articles on former George looks with new product information and identifications, offer the occasional surprise, and of course, keep you updated on his future sartorial choices! Thanks for making this a wonderful tour and debut of the blog. We love you guys!
