Prince George Recycles (Just Like His Mom)!

Today was bittersweet as the Royal family said their goodbyes to New Zealand and boarded a plane for Australia. How generous were the Kiwis to our favorite Little Prince (if you haven’t caught up on all the amazing gifts he received, check out our gifts board on Pinterest!)? Prince George wore repeating pieces upon his New Zealand departure. He left in Prince William's arms (awww!) wearing his Rachel Riley UK navy sailboat jumper, Trotters Chelsea Clothing Co. Milo onesie, Early Days navy Alex shoes, and the still unidentified cream New Zealand arrival cardigan with British soldiers knit on the bottom, right corner.

Three-and-a-half hours later, George emerged from the plane in the arms of Kate wearing a very familiar romper. Cheeks’s attire drew on inspiration from his father’s first Royal Tour Down Under with classic smocking. The romper featured a peter pan collar with blue and white gingham piping, bubble sleeves, shorts, and smocking across the chest. Four delicate sail boats were embroidered on the smocking. This romper is likely the same one we saw at George’s New Zealand arrival, under his cardigan and is made by childrenswear designer, Annafie. The romper sold out immediately but Annafie is now taking orders for a June shipment. They retail for $99 and you can get yours here.*

Did you guys love the classic look as much as we did? We adore that George’s look is reminiscent of his daddy’s first tour. Like father, like son.

Correction: George's romper is actually made by Belgian childrenswear brand, Les Petites Abeilles.
