Today’s post encompasses several bits and pieces we think you’ll find interesting. In regards to Prince George’s outfit at his playdate, Trotters confirmed that they carry both the Chelsea Clothing Company onesie and the Early Days shoes. “The Duchess of Cambridge is a valued customer and Prince George looks very handsome,” a representative for Trotters said. We couldn’t agree more! Early Days also responded enthusiastically to George’s choice in footwear: “We are really thrilled to see the Prince wearing our shoes and our staff are over the moon knowing they have made some shoes for the future King! The reaction to the shoes has been fantastic and our factory in Leicester has never been so busy.” Also, George’s nanny, Maria, was photographed at the event holding a knit baby shawl. Although it looks similar to George’s G. H. Hurt & Sons christening shawl, the stitch differs, and we have yet to conclusively identify the piece. Any thoughts?
The Royal New Zealand Plunket Society hosted the playgroup, a long time institution that provides support and resources for new parents and children up till age 5. Plunket couldn’t resist spoiling Cheeks, gifting the Cambridges a personalized Well Child book, which Kate and Wills can record George’s development in over his first five years of life. You can get a copy for free if you live in New Zealand, but if not, you can download the pdf from the website and print it at a local office supply store. George also received a blue, plush Plunket bear, which retails for $50 NZD. However, they do not ship internationally. You can find something similar under Just Like George if you live outside of New Zealand.
